The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is the country’s premiere men’s professional basketball league. Though NBA has a huge market in the Philippines as well, Filipinos just can’t get enough of their favorite sport.

To make the game closer to its fans, mobile service provider Smart and local sports channel AKTV developed an application for PBA followers – the PBA on AKTV.

Currently, the application is still in beta and is only good for those who are using devices running in the Android mobile operating system. With this app, PBA followers can access live scores, schedules, results, stats, standings, news headlines from InterAKTV, and real-time updates at their fingertips.

One of the features of the app is that you can hook up your Twitter and Facebook accounts to join the on-going conversations.
