Get Rid of Yahoo! Messenger Error 81003005

It has been a long time since I’ve signed in with Yahoo! Messenger. Whenever I try signing in, an error  81003005 always appear which says that the messenger encountered a connection problem. All the while, I thought it was just a problem with my service provider (SmartBro) though I haven’t encountered any problems with them recently.

Have you encountered the same problem? Here’s what helped me solve this ‘bug.’

Actually, you can find the solution to this problem at the Yahoo! Answers site. According to the site, IM9 has a lot of bugs causing this connection problem with Yahoo! Messenger.  So the best thing to do is to install the latest version. Here’s the link: http://messenger.yahoo.com/download/win.
