Here’s another cool new technology that’s coming to the market – webphone! Technically speaking, this is not really new to all the tech savvy out there but Globe Telecom recently make it available for public usage in a form of a telephone-booth.
Globe Telecom first deployed the first ever public webphone service, called Globe E-Stop, in the Philippines in TriNoma. This step is actually an experiment to test the newest technology in the market.
In partnership with TouchMedia Philippines, Globe E-Stop currently offers voice, web browsing, and picture and video email. In the future, Globe Telecom will also add new features to E-Stop such as text messaging, reloads, bill payments and advertising.
