Remember Gr3ySh4DoW, the hacker behind the defacement of the websites in Occidental Mindoro late last year particularly Bislig City’s and their provincial council’s website? Well, he’s back in our radar.
Gr3ySh4DoW compromised the website of IXL Lima Group Security, Inc., a company that provides security manpower services to some known establishments in the country.
It may look ironic that a security company like IXL gets easily bypassed by local hackers but in reality, this could really happen. IXL and all other companies under their industry may have the skills and knowledge to combat security concerns but their forte is physical security.
The security breach happened last night, February 12th, but the defaced page is still up as of this writing. FilTech Hackers Philippines, the group where Gr3ySh4DoW belongs to, tagged IXL in their Facebook Page post.
