Another Philippine National Police (PNP) website just got hacked. The website of PNP’s Center for Police Strategy Management (CPSM) is the recent victim of the hacking group Philippine Cyber Security.

In 2018, three of PNP’s websites were also compromised by hackers: the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) in August, and Philippine National Police Foundation, Inc. (PNPFI) and Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (PNP-DPRM) in October. The hacker behind the alias ‘Sanji’ is said to be responsible for most of these attacks.

We didn’t get any response from PNP when we reported the security incidents last year but we’re still positive that the agency would still do something in ensuring that their websites are secured.

For this recent defacement, we will still inform PNP CPSM and open our communication channels for any statement from the affected office.
