Have you ever received the same text message? These types of messages are actually SCAMS and they are just trying to persuade us to take advantage of their anonymity. We often reply them asking who are they or just delete their message. But aren’t you worried that these modus operandi is so rampant nowadays?
I called the Globe Customer Service Hotline a while ago to report this incident and ask them to block the number. And the representative gladly helped me with this concern.
According to him, Globe will be sending a warning message to the subscriber that his/her number was reported for sending SCAM messages. If ever that there will be another report relating to the same number with the same incident, that’s the time the network will be blocking the number.
The representative also wants us to report to the hotline any similar incidents to end this modus operandi.
Call your network customer service hotline for more information.
