Skype announced last April 22, 2012 that their popular video-conferencing service is now available for customers using phone running in Microsoft’s Windows Phone.

The new Skype app for Windows Phone can now be downloaded in the Windows Phone Marketplace. The official version of the app can also be downloaded directly to the supported Windows Phones.

Windows Phone users can now connect with other Skype users across different platforms – smartphones and tablets be it running in Android, iOS and Symbian; Mac and Windows computers and laptops; and even on supported TVs. Skype claims that they have now a growing 200 million users worldwide.
