At first, I’m not really sure if I’m going to join the surfing event for bloggers. I don’t have enough money for the registration and I have school and work-related assignments, so that would hinder me of joining the rest of the bloggers who are excited in having their vacation in La Union.
A week before the said event, life was so stressful – prepared my presentation for my report, defense for our project study, Prelim exams, routinary work – these just make my day super stressful. It’s as if I was not giving my life the opportunity to enjoy and to grab some time to meet new friends and real people not just the computer and the cyberfriends.
So after submitting a Paid Time Off (PTO) request in the office for two days (Friday and Sunday since Saturday is my day-off), I texted Jonel of LetsGoSago.net that I’ll be joining his event.
Everything runs smoothly. My PTO was approved and during the TV5 movie premier of UP at SM Megamall, I met the bloggers who are also joining the La Union trip. That triggers my excitement to the event.
The group meet at McDonald’s MRT-Quezon Ave where the registration took place.
The bus was just outside waiting for the group.
After chatting with fellow bloggers and finding our best seats in the bus, we’re off to La Union!
At the bus, Jonel Uy of LetsGoSago.net made a brief orientation of the surfing event at the same time mentioning the representatives of our sponsors, partners and presentors who are also joining the surfing event.
