Finally, after weeks of controversial talks around the Internet for the ABS-CBN’s remake of the hit movie ‘Twilight’, the network broke its silence on its recent news article published on its news website saying that there’s no truth about the alleged adaptation.
The network, through Bong Osorio of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, announced the Kapamilya’s statement “There is no truth to the Web reports, particularly in the Perez Hilton blogsite, that ABS-CBN is doing a local adaptation of “Twilight”. ABS-CBN will be the first to announce if it is, in fact doing so.”
Now that things are being cleared up by the network, they also commented on the reported article that made confusions to various Twilight fanatics and Kapamilyas . But then again, it doesn’t answer any of my questions on why they have to publish such an article confirming their acquistion of the Twilight TV remake. It was published on their NEWS website. So, they really are playing with the Twilight followers huh?
