Trend Micro, a leading cloud security company, released today its latest security software for consumers – Titanium Internet Security 2013.
The Titanium brand is available in five variants – the entry level Titanium Antivirus+, mid-range Titanium Internet Security, high-end Titanium Maximum Security, Titanium Premium Security and the protection for Mac Titanium Internet Security for Mac. Along with the recent release, Trend Micro is pioneering a protection for social networking sites. Being in the forefront of online security, Trend Micro capitalized on it web reputation service to make sure that all their users are protected while on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, MySpace and Pinterest.
Also, Titanium introduces a new feature called Facebook Privacy Scanner for Windows. In a press release, Trend Micro said ‘users can easily monitor their Facebook page settings and control access to personal and private information. Titanium Internet Security products identify which settings may lead to privacy concerns, making it easy for consumers to be in the driver’s seat and stay on top of settings as they change.’
To keep up with the latest trend, Titanium will be compatible as well to Windows 8 upon its commercial release.
The Titanium 2013 release will also provide customers the ability to extend their protection from computers to their other devices. Below is the company’s press release:
‘Titanium Maximum Security customers receive three licenses that can be used on multiple devices including PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile phones. For those with more devices and data, Trend Micro offers Titanium Premium Security that allows for two additional licenses for a total of five, and 25 GB of SafeSync secure online storage.’
Full disclosure: I work for Trend Micro but this blog is not connected to Trend Micro in anyway nor do they have control over the articles that I write.
